20 Soca artistes were sent to their musical graves on Saturday night when Ricky T was crowned the new St Lucia Soca Monarch.

Performing his song Wheel and come again, Ricky T sang "Mr Undertaker build them a coffin," to not only stir up the crowd but to put the proverbial final nail in the coffin.

Coming in second was first time finalist Superman HD (Mr Pringles) with his hit song Socaritis. In third place was Ilah Man with Mad so.

The top three finalists are from 758 studios with Ricky T and Ilah Man currently signed to the label.

Other competitors included defending Monarch Kakal, Ninja Dan, Alpha, Q-Pid, Mantius and Nicole David.
