Considered the original celebrity chef Rustie Lee was at Borders on Briggate, Leeds to promote her new book Rustie Lee - A Taste of the Caribbean.
She certainly seemed to bring the Caribbean sunshine with her to rain-soaked Leeds as she signed copies.
Rustie, a trained pastry chef who originally found fame on a 1980s breakfast television programme TV-AM, is known for her loud and hearty laugh.
Her first cookbook since 1984, it also includes a DVD of her making some of the recipes on location in Jamaica, where she was born.
The book’s recipes include rice and peas, ackee and saltfish, jerk chicken and Rustie's Aphrodisiac Cocktail.
"I'm very excited about this book. It's taken a long time to put it together but I'm very happy with it. I've made all the recipes as easy to follow as possible and with things you can buy at supermarkets. I hope that people will enjoy the book, have a lot of fun trying the recipes and experiencing a taste of the Caribbean," explained an excited Rustie.
