The third annual UK Soca Music Awards took place last Saturday 27 October at the Holiday Inn London-Bloomsbury to an audience much smaller than in the past but appreciative of the way forward for soca music produced by artists here in the UK.

The awards this year were supported by companies such as Banks Beer UK, Caribbean Airlines, Wynter Sun Holidays, UK Centre for Carnival Arts, Carnival Carousal and Bang Radio.
