Although it was by all accounts quieter than the Saturday, day two at the fifth UK RumFest at Olympia, on Sunday 16th October, still provided an entertaining afternoon for those with of us with an appreciation of rum. Despite not managing to taste all 400 of the rums that organisers said were available to sip, savour and purchase, I can confirm that there was more than enough to give attendees a complete global perspective and taste. With their rum sampling vouchers entitling them to five free samples, live musical entertainment, cocktail master-classes and demonstrations, everyone was certainly in high spirits throughout the afternoon.

To add some balance to the alcohol, the inaugural Tropics Market featured cakes, food and teas from Caribbean suppliers.
