The second installment of the UK Soca Monarch (UKSM) saw some of the best talent competing for both the Groovy and Power titles. This year however was the first time that the UKSM team incorporated the Groovy category which was greatly appreciated and supported by artists and industry personnels.

For 2011, nine acts in total took part in both the Groovy and Power categories with six and seven finalists in the Groovy and Power categories respectively. The eventual winners of both categories were last years 3rd place finalists, Muzik Lil Muzik, a sister duo with a passion for music.

Groovy Monarch

2nd - Ms Desire (Mind Ya Bizness)

3rd  - 1st Class (I have a Mission)

Power Monarch

1st - Muzik Lil Muzik (2Flag)

2nd - Soca Johnny (Disorgansie)

3rd - Konata Alleyne (Bazoodee)
