The favorites from Wednesday night’s Party Monarch semi-finals dominated last night’s finals of the LIME Party Monarch Competition which was be held at Carnival City in Antigua.

Doing what many described as “doing a Machel”, Tian Winters walked away with both the groovy and power titles.

Results for Lime Party Monarch 2012

Groovy Soca Monarch:
1st. Tian Winter
2nd. Claudette Peters
3rd. Ricardo Drue

Jumpy (Power) Soca Monarch

1st. Tian Winter
2nd. Ricardo Drue
3rd. Natural Rampler

By capturing the titles Tian Winters won himself two cars and secured a place in the 2013 International Soca Monarch finals in Trinidad.

Naturally excitement is building to see if Tian will really ‘do a Machel” by also capturing the Road March title, over the next two days.
